Present Moment Awareness


Voices from the past, concerns for the future dominate too many lives. The average person has 60,000 thoughts per day and about 70% of these are negative or fear based. It’s virtually impossible to turn off or tune out. This is the biggest Rubicon challenge of all.

Yesterday is gone and tomorrow is not yet here so the only option you have is to live in the ‘now’. Present moment awareness (PMA) is the critical success factor for effective living without stress of what is gone or not yet here. Let go of the past and live in the now. It is not sufficient to be present physically, you also need to be present mentally, emotionally and spiritually. This ‘secret’ has been called consciousness or mindfulness.
